   Another suggestion would be adding a slider for % of screen space being used by default when AquaSnapping left / right.
   For example if I slide the handle to 60%/40%, then whenever I AquaSnap a window to the left it will use 60% of screen space, and a window to the right will use the remaining 40%.

   50%/50% is indeed not ideal for many situations. For example MS Word does not necessarily need half the screen space, and I can use a larger screen space for research while composing.

   A percentage slider provides extra flexibility for users over options like 1/3 or 1/4. Users who look for those can use 33% or 25% while people with smaller screens can have a more modest setting.
