    3x3 or 3x2 or 2x3 or 3x1 - so I guess being able to choose custom layouts

    Or draw window location on to a grid much as is done with gnome gtile:

    This is exactly what I need right now. snapping windows to any of the 9 positions on a 3 x 3 grid of available screen size

    I would not say the tool is "completely useless" however it would be "completely useful" for me if it allowed a simple way for me to arrange my 9 windows in a 3 x 3 grid.

    Ideal would be if I could windows-numeric keypad to place windows in this 3x3 grid, ie. windows-mueric-keypad-2 would resize a window to 33% of the screen size and place it bottom left.
