I have emailed the developer to inquire about exactly this, and they informed that as long as it is only active on one computer at a time, you may install it and use it on as many computers as you own. I am using it on two different computers in two different locations, with no issues, since I can only be present in one location at a time. The developer confirmed this via email as being perfectly fine. If you are trying to use multiple computers simultaneously, then yes, this would be different, but, it's great for a home desktop and travel laptop as is.
