Padding between windows
It would be great if you could specify padding between windows. I would love it if I could set a gap between windows when they snapped together. And also padding between the windows and the desktop. Something similar to: http://imgur.com/CKEwZO2

New "Horitontally Centered & Vertically Stretched & Half-Screen width" action for AquaSnap mode
When working on a large 16/10 screens, I'm often opening windows in the middle of the screen (centered), stretched from top to bottom, but not with a full screen width. Only a half or a third of it.
This allows to have a window which is narrow enough for the eyes staring right ahead.
This pattern could be a new option in the AquaSnap mode, in addition to Top, Bottom, Left, Right, Top Right, etc.... options. So that one could easily display a window in that mode by just dragging it to the top middle of the screen, for instance.…31 votes -
save and restore location of windows in a multimonitor setup
ability to save the positions of application windows across multi monitors.
my issue is whenever i unlock my laptop, all my windows move back to the laptop screen, instead of being restored to the monitors were they previously were located.
would like a tool that allows me to specify application window location, and auto restore windows to their correct positions when i re-dock my laptop.

"AquaScroll" Feature
Add the ability to change the focus to a window under the cursor without bringing it to the front allowing you to use the mouse wheel to scroll partially obscured applications in the background without clicking on them and bringing them to the front. You could call it AquaScroll.
This feature has already been implemented on certain Mac and Linux versions but has not been implemented with previous versions of windows until 10. Certain applications like Google Chrome (and the newer versions of Microsoft Office I am told) support this feature with other windows/tabs within the same application, but no…

Provide a configurable "centered" snap-box like the edge ones
AquaSnap's predesigned regions are all along an edge. But, as a developer I often prefer to have a window centered and at a certain size. To me, the only thing missing in AquaSnap is a user-configurable "center" or "middle" region that can be snapped to.
Mosiaco has this feature, but I much prefer AquaSnap's overall UI.
Please consider, or inform if I've missed this in settings.

Allow for custom window sizes accessible through dragging to edges.
Like many users interested in window management, I have specialized needs that aren't easily met by simple window sizes such as the half or quarter screen options AquaSnap provides. These are actually baked into Windows 10 now, so a more customizable and robust window-snapping interface would make the product much more useful. I suggest the ability to define custom window sizes, and to assign those to different areas of the screen edge. So dragging to the right side might yield a window that takes up 60% horizontal screen space instead of 50%. Perhaps more than 8 zones could be optionally…

I have an ultrawide monitor - I basically want full vertical height and three way split across horizontal dimension
Simple enough - I want to be able to snap windows three beside each other, full height, left/middle/right

Provide keyboard shortcuts for switching between windows
AquaSnap is only dealing with window placement, making that more efficient; but I want to go full tiling window manager, not needing to use my mouse at all. To do this I need keyboard shortcuts to switch between windows.

Show current version number on your website and add it to the download file
Show the current version number on your website and add it to the download filename.
For Example: Aquasnap 1.17.1.msi
This would allow users to know if they have the most current version of your software installed.24 votes -

Active Monitor Selection
The free version only lets me use the app on one monitor. That's fine, but it should let me select which monitor it's active in. I only need it for one monitor that isn't my primary.

"Prevent windows from going outside of the monitor edges"
"Prevent windows from going outside of the monitor edges" is a feature I would like to see in this app.
Whenever a user(or a program) drags(or positions) a window outside of the monitor edges, the windows snaps to inside edges of the screen.
This should apply to both user positioning and for programs positioning of windows. This is very useful, because it's really annoying when this occurs, and there is no built in way to get the window back into visible area.21 votes -
aquasnap completely disable snapping when using multiple monitors
Multi-monitor is only supported in the paid version. I get that.
But for the AquaSnap (snapping) feature If you have the free version, it completely disable all snapping (normal windows 10 snapping too) in my second monitor instead of just disabling snapping to corners.
please fix.

Remeber which monitors windows were open on between multi-monitor configurations
I use multiple monitors at work (laptop + 3 screens) and at home (laptop + 2 screens). Sometimes I plug in to overheads to do presentations, away from my desk at work.
I would love it if I didn't have to spend any time rearranging all my windows once I plug into my new site as I move between them, but instead had the computer remember the configuration and do that for me.

Recognize when I re-connect my laptop to a monitor and restore window positions
When connecting a laptop to a monitor automatically restore open windows to their assigned positions on the monitor.
When disconnecting the laptop from the monitor, put all open windows to center of screen.
