Horizontal AquaSnap in 1/3 or 1/4 screen increments
I use a 4k monitor with a resolution of 3840 x 2160. Most applications don't use the entire space when split across half the screen. I end up manually resizing them to only take up 1/3 or 1/4 of the screen.
My most common layout is a CAD application or Photo editor using 2/3 - 3/4 of the screen, with a web browser using the remaining space.

Another suggestion would be adding a slider for % of screen space being used by default when AquaSnapping left / right.
For example if I slide the handle to 60%/40%, then whenever I AquaSnap a window to the left it will use 60% of screen space, and a window to the right will use the remaining 40%.50%/50% is indeed not ideal for many situations. For example MS Word does not necessarily need half the screen space, and I can use a larger screen space for research while composing.
A percentage slider provides extra flexibility for users over options like 1/3 or 1/4. Users who look for those can use 33% or 25% while people with smaller screens can have a more modest setting.

As SHCho mentioned WinSplit Revolution nailed this perfectly. This is the one feature I was hoping AquaSnap had when I was looking for an active replacement for WinSplit. Really hoping this will be added.

I used to use the old WinSplit Revolution because the same hot key can switch a window between different user defined sizes and positions. It works perfect on Windows 7 and 8, but not on Windows 10 because of the thinner boarder. Unfortunately WinSplit Revolution stopped development long time ago. I hope AquaSnap can add this function, then it will be the perfect tiled window manager for Windows.
