1. Enhancement request for TidyTabs: Universal 2-pane container

   I am a long time user of Tidy Tabs and Aqua Snap and have a suggestion for TidyTabs.

   In many user scenarios, a two-pane layout of windows is a useful device.
   1) Click and drag for move/copy: One window is the src, one window is the target
   2) Navigation with overview: One window shows the hierarchy of folders, one window shows the specific contents
   3) Code and run : One window shows the source, the other window shows a shell to run the compilation
   etc

   TidyTabs allow multiple arbitary windows to be placed in one tabbed "container".

   It would be nice if TidyTabs had a two-container device that allows the user to put some windows
   in the left container, some on the right. Then the user can keep the two-container as a unit, and
   do the above actions between 2 windows cleanly.

   Currently, I put all the relevant windows in one "container" and to do the above, I pull out one
   of the windows to perform the drag/drop, then put the window back.

2. For tidytabs, alternative tabs positions

   Currently the tab of a window is in a fix position in the upper border, on the left. It would be more flexible if it is possible chose the tab alignment and put it also above but centererd or on the right corner.

3. Ability to save tidy tabs views

   I would like to be able to have, for example, two word docs, a powerpoint doc and a browser in a tab view and save it as "Project 2" so that I can just click on something to load all of those files back into the Project 2 tabbed view.

4. Full screen applications while still showing TidyTabs ABOVE title bar.

   I'd like to be able to click maximize on any application with TidyTabs and have the tabs at the top of the screen, above the title bar. Kind of like another bar at the top. It would be like this from top to bottom: TidyTabs > Application Title Bar > Application Window. Currently you wither have to unhide the tabs with mouse over or either have them always in the way in other tabbed applications like chrome. Groupy has this feature however TidyTabs is MUCH better and more responsive and actually works on EVERY window. The full screen feature is the only thing holding Tidy Tabs back in my opinion.

5. Allow TidyTab to be moved to below the ribbon or above the ribbon in Microsoft Office

   I have created a "Quick Access Toolbar" in all my office applications. TidyTabs just sits on top of them covering them. Please, allow user to move tabs to below the ribbon or above the ribbon as they wish.

10. Add option to Add New Tab while Explorer is already open. Also add new tab with Hot Key

    While Explorer is opened, there should be a Add New Tab option which can be opened with the mouse click and a Hot Key(Keyboard shortcut)

12. Add hotkeys, be able to drag the tabs to any position on the screen border

    It would be more useful if we could position where the tabs go on the screen border, horizontally and vertically. Also, being able to hotkey to swithc tabs would be very useful.

17. TinyTabs - remember tab groups on reboot or a relaunch of an app like Chrome that remembers what windows were open.

    If I group a lot of windows together, and then reboot my machine, Windows 10 will remember what apps were running and relaunch them, but the tab groups and tab names are lost. Another way to replicate this is if you have a lot of Chrome windows open, and then Chrome shuts down and restarts... all of the Chrome windows re-open but they aren't in tab groups any more.

19. Replace taskbar items combined with tabs into a single item on the taskbar like Chrome does.

    When you put things in the same tabs, part of the reason is to clean up the taskbar. Especially for people who don't like the automatic combining of all items on the taskbar.

20. Tidy Tabs auto group via window name

    I'd like a method of auto grouping tabs via the window name so that Tidy Tabs can remember the groupings even after a reboot or if I have to disable Tidy Tabs temporarily.

    Basically it should be similar to the "Grouping" list but not based off the process name. The big problem with the auto grouping list is that I don't want all of my dopus.exe windows to be grouped, only certain ones. So the best way I can think of to handle it is with making virtual groups then adding a list of window names that belong to that group. So if you use the same interface instead of "process name", you create a new "virtual group" then add to that a list of windows to add (ie what is listed in the title bar).

    Example:
    Virtual group name: TempDirectories
    List of windows for group: T:\tmp;C:\Windows\temp;E:\Temp

    So if any those windows are opened or are currently opened they will dock automatically to each other.

    I am currently doing something similar to this with a quick macro script. After I start up directory opus, it opens a bunch of windows and they are not grouped by tidy tabs. So I have a small macro which groups all the windows I need grouped automatically. The basic code goes:
    1) Get the window handle to named window (ex: "T:\tmp")
    2) if Window is minimized restore
    3) Get the window handle to named window (ex:"E:\Temp")
    4) if Window is minimized restore
    5) Use a mouse macro to emulate the drag of the tidy tab tab to group the windows
    6) minimize the window and I am done.
