TinyTabs - remember tab groups on reboot or a relaunch of an app like Chrome that remembers what windows were open.
If I group a lot of windows together, and then reboot my machine, Windows 10 will remember what apps were running and relaunch them, but the tab groups and tab names are lost. Another way to replicate this is if you have a lot of Chrome windows open, and then Chrome shuts down and restarts... all of the Chrome windows re-open but they aren't in tab groups any more.
It’s a good idea, we will study its feasibility.

I'm unsure why my prior comment got purged, but this request is vital to the longevity of this software. This feature is an absolute necessity. Your primary competitor, Groupy, can already accomplish this feat. The reason why I'm not using Groupy at the moment is because it's a terribly sluggish piece of software that doesn't interact well with the MS Office suite without doing a plethora of odd behaviors.
Please consider this sooner than later. I'd prefer not go back to Groupy, as TidyTabs is extremely responsive, though distinctly lacking in some essential features.
Thanks

Doesn't seem like staff jumped on this issue. Does not seem to remember renamed tags but not sure . Maybe I missed something.

I don't think this product is used by professionals as advertised, because the feature of saving groups and reopen it is missing. I would consider this software as a hobby software. Try Groupy from stardock it has the feature you are looking for.

Good idea. TidyTabs biggest weakness is the lack of the ability to specify specific programs to always open in a TidyTab group. For example, I'd really like it if I could set TidyTabs so both Mozilla Thunderbird and FireFox are always part of the same TidyTabs group. (If this ability already exists, please explain how to do it.)

That's exactly the feature I need, to go for a commercial product.
For now, on Win 7 I use an old version of Clover that do the job.
Unfortunatly, the new version of clover did not support antmore this feature under Win10. -

Yes, I support this feature. When a user goes to all the trouble of grouping his tabs, it would be nice to be able to save/restore the settings. Also, the restoring of tabs should be forgiving, ie if one window is not there, no need to fail. Just load as much as was originally specified.

i was using clover and have to admit that for not taking away anything from themes for those of us using custom themes tidy tabs is great, however you are missing the ability to drag and drop items from one folder to another tab folder in the same tab group. no rightclick drag and copy or move to another tab in the same tab group. no remember groups so when you restart windows or logoff and back on all you have to do is select one folder and when it opens it also opens the last items that were open in the last tab group you had prior to restarting or logging off and back on.
