Horizontal AquaSnap in 1/3 or 1/4 screen increments
I use a 4k monitor with a resolution of 3840 x 2160. Most applications don't use the entire space when split across half the screen. I end up manually resizing them to only take up 1/3 or 1/4 of the screen.
My most common layout is a CAD application or Photo editor using 2/3 - 3/4 of the screen, with a web browser using the remaining space.

Custom snapping grids
So there are pre-determined snapping grids with Aquasnap however it would be nice to customise these. For example, if I move a window to the top left corner, it'll snap to only 1/3rd of my screen.

Need more/more flexible docking locations for large 4k monitors
The four corners docking is nice, but with my 40" 4k monitor, it's like I have 4 20" 1080p monitors pasted together, or 6 1280x1080 monitors (perfect for 6 web pages). I need more flexible docking to be able to make efficient use of all this space.

2x3 grid layout for AquaSnap
I have a very wide monitor, which would comfortably allow three columns and two rows of windows. I would like to have an easy-to-use 2x3 grid layout for AquaSnap such, that the windows would fill 1/3 of width and 1/2 of height; dragging to top would snap to middle-top slot and dragging to bottom would snap to middle-bottom slot.

Create a region for using the middle portion of an ultrawide monitor. Divide it like this: 1/4+1/2+1/4

Make default window sizes for specific programs
Set a default window size and location for a specifc program so that it always opens in that way.

Save an application's position and automatically arrange when the application starts
I have multiple users that like their screens a certain way (Outlook on left monitor on left side of screen, Calendar on right monitor, etc...). It would be nice to save a layout and have the applications snap to their place when they are started.

Save/Restore Layouts & Launch Programs
It would be nice to be able to Save/Restore Actual Windows Position, not just to Snap or Stretch, but to Overlap as Well. Then when you restore a layout, it also launches individual Application/FIles in the positions they were in when the layout was saved. This would be a true Layout Manager instead of a Window Snap program.

add a way to automatically arrange all windows in a monitor
sometimes I have tons (9-10) of VLC windows open and I want to compare a specific frame and Id like a way to arrange all theses windows (same width/height possibly) in my monitor so I can see all of them at once. Doing that manually is very tedious and even more with aquasnap because of aquamagnet (window keep moving by itself)

Return to docked size/position after maximizing/restoring a window
When executing the following steps, the window gets undocked
1) A windows is somewhere on the screen - position A
2) Dock the window to some side of the screen - position B
3) Maximize the window to fullscreen - position C
4) Restore the window - it returns to position AI would highly prefer that it returns to position B after restoring in step 4

save layout of windows per display
It would be useful if we could save configurations of some layouts per display (also depending on the rotation of the screen - some layouts would be only available in appropriate rotation). Arranging windows could be done by keystrokes or using menu.

Lock Window Position
If you snap two Skype windows vertically (left and right) on Windows 10, one gets misaligned when minimized. This could be due to the 1px border feature.
Perhaps enabling a feature locking a window's position with the ability to minimize it could solve this problem.

Maximize / Snap Zones (Advanced "Horizontal AquaSnap in 1/3 or 1/4 screen increments").
Idea is from MaxTo (maxto [dot] net). It allows a screen to be divided into user defined zones instead of fixed 1/3 and 1/4 zones (increments). AquaSnap would then snap or maximize to your zone boundaries. This allows for 1/3 and 1/4 horizontal AND vertical splitting. On my 30", 16:10 displays, I like to split vertically as well.

The tool is completely useless as it only allows the standard windows functionality. What I am looking for is a tool to easily divide my 21:9 into a grid of at least 3 windows side by side

Set custom size of drop zones
50/50 screen splits and even quarters is available in base windows now. I was hoping for a tool that would let me set custom sized "snap to" zones, like a 2/3 1/3 option. That allows a chat, to-do list, or inbox feed to stay visible in 1/3rd the screen next to a 2/3 window for your main work. Right now with AquaSnap I have to manually size the first window for the 2nd to then fill the remaining space, and isnt much more convenient than the manual process for that in windows.

Hitting the same hotkey multiple times alternates between different widths in the same corner
On Linux I use a tiling tool similar to AquaSnap, and in that tool if you hit a hotkey to place a window in a position (let's say Ctrl+Alt+1 to put it in the bottom left corner) then you hit that hotkey combination again, it will keep the window in that corner but alternate between three different widths of the window, narrow, medium (half the screen, as AquaSnap does by default) and wide (more than half the screen width). This allows me to quickly get my windows exactly how I want them with a few quick keypresses. Here's an example…

Define proportion of the screen width to snap too.
I would like to be able to define what proportion of the screen a window will consume when its snapped to the left or right.
For example if I drag a window to the right I would like it to consume 75% of the width of the screen, if I drag a window to the left I would like it to consume 25% of the width of the screen.

Make Aquaglue the default behavior
It seems to me that the situations where I want to use AquaGlue outweigh the situations where I don't. It would really help to have an option to reverse the effect of the Ctrl hotkey, that is, disable AquaGlue when Ctrl is held down and enable it at all other times.

Default Split View
Instead of manually adjusting windows every time, can you provide options to set up grid ? Say I can either split screen into 2 or 4 parts. Then whenever I open a new window, it automatically snaps to first part for example.
And all windows have to follow the grid. Say I move one windows, it has to snap into one of these screen parts, instead of hanging in between.
Please, this would be awesome.
