How can we improve AquaSnap?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  1. Allow temporarily disabling AquaMagnet with modifier key while dragging window

    Add the option under AquaMagnet > "Magnetic effect" to allow temporarily disabling the AquaMagnet feature when dragging a window by holding down a (configurable?) modifier key, like Alt (I would have said Ctrl, but it's already being used with AquaGlue). This would allow much greater window placement precision when it is needed.

  3. AVG said it found IDP.ALEXA.51 in AquaSanp so i uninstalled it

    What is going on with IDP.ALEXA.51 and AquaSnap? Isn't that some kind of Trojan Horse?

  5. Windows 10. Some Windows can't be altered.

    I recently upgraded from win7 to win10. Since then some windows aren't effected by AquaSnap anymore. For example my Browser Waterfox (64 bit Firefox)

  7. You have a how-to video on youtube - put a link on your product page

    As someone who was vaguely mystified as to how AquaSnap works, I searched for a video. You have a nice one on youtube

  9. Ability to stop a window closing when you press Windows Key + D

    THe ability to stop a window closing when you press Windows Key + D. I have Skype running on a third monitor and work on the other two. Often I need to get a file from the desktop but its annoying having to get the skype window back up when I clear to desktop.

    I am using a MS Windows software program that, unlike most windows programs, opens program features in there own windows. I find this annoying when concurrently running other programs. Windows treats these windows as separate programs making switching applications cumbersome. Does AquaSnap have features for this problem?

  12. introduce a setting, where you can easily split the screen vertically.

    When using a tablet in portrait mode it is often useful to have 2 windows one on top of the other. Windows 10 lacks this feature.

  13. Implement a system like service to control both Elevated and Non-Elevated Windows

    I'm not sure how feasible this is, but it would be nice to have. Both products cannot interact with processes that have been elevated (Run as Administrator) when logged on as a normal user.

  14. Cascading windows to a specific part of the screen

    I use a lot of windows and I would like to easily select specific folders I need to pull things out of but don't need active all the time. It's a pain to do this manually but its way faster than using the taskbar.

  19. Problem Gluing Outlook to AutoHotKey

    App windows like Outlook do not have AquaMagnet attraction to my AutoHotKey GUI windows, although the AutoHotKey window is magnetically attracted to Outlook. AquaGlue does not work between these windows.

    Q: is this a known problem?

    Q: are there particular settings of the AutoHotKey window that make it visible to AquaSnap?

  20. winsplit like predefined areas and drop to empty area

    winsplit like predefined window sizes that can be activated to move the windows via shortcuts and a window should be dropable to an empty corner for resizing vs manually fitting a window into an empty region.
